Destin of Smarter Every Day went down the drain in my books as soon as he published a video about Flagella, and ended it by suggesting it could be intelligent design and told viewers to read a book authored by someone who is a staunch believer of intelligent design.

Crossed the line as a science Youtuber. You don't need to be athiest to be a scientist, and he definitely isn't. But you should at least know the line.

Finding out this site is basically just a copy of something that already existed and something they knew existed just further degrades my opinion of him. Especially with it being littered with ads. The ad literally takes up half my screen.

I don't agree with intelligent design either simply because it is based on no data or scientific theory.

I also expect Destin to know better than to suggest that.

But still, I wouldn't say he went down the drain.

He went down my drain a long time ago for the same reason. I also find it funny how his good ole boy down south project to make a grill scrubber has basically just re-discovered what all the predominately atheist city slickers have been trying to tell the predominantly Republican voting south, which is that unregulated free market capitalism is the problem.

As a publisher who relied on Adsense it’s so sad to see how Google is absolutely destroying the industry with every user hostile practice imaginable. It’s absolutely disgusting and pathetic. They are hooked on a type of crack that will ruin the product in the long run.
