I loved the idea of this vehicle, but I'm never going to buy a pick-up. The idea of charging a construction site or a house during black out sounds amazing to me. However, I'm not sure of the pick-truck audience likes the idea of electric. It could also be a cost thing. I'd love to hear more about the demographic that normally buys trucks.

Many non-work trucks are bought because the owner needs to tow boats, ATVs, an RV, etc. Unfortunately the towing range is awful on this gen of electric pickups. Gas stations are much more common and quicker to fill up.

Electric is great for torque but terrible for range. So a local delivery van or box truck is much simpler to electrify than a towing pickup or a long distance semi.

Yeah... electric is a much better option for local usage, if the cost is right or the features good, I could see a lot of tradesman usage. But there's also a high overlap with those that will do RV/ATV/Boats etc. So it just loses out completely there.

I'm surprised that no work truck fleets were sold on the vehicle though... seems that would be the most ideal sales channel, but they'd need to push towards F-250/350 levels in practice.
