I'd be curious to know how that compares to other war zones. Wars always have civilian victims; is this worse? Wikipedia's article on WW II casualties begins: "Civilian deaths totaled 50–55 million. Military deaths from all causes totaled 21–25 million." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties That's about 2:1. The article cites estimates in Gaza of 15:1. The two conflicts are very different, so I don't know if that's really an apples-to-apples comparison. But that's what my research turned up. | ||||||||
