I'd be curious to know how that compares to other war zones. Wars always have civilian victims; is this worse? Wikipedia's article on WW II casualties begins: "Civilian deaths totaled 50–55 million. Military deaths from all causes totaled 21–25 million." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties That's about 2:1. The article cites estimates in Gaza of 15:1. The two conflicts are very different, so I don't know if that's really an apples-to-apples comparison. But that's what my research turned up. | ||

That would be close to an order of magnitude worse. Given the article is about injuries being much worse than would be expected for civilians I suppose sadly that's less surprising given the points the article is making. Providing yet more evidence of IDF deliberately targeting civilians/children and in horrifying ways. |
