I'm all for playing the "oh, the children!" card. As a parent it's nice to not have to worry about that sort of thing. It does ring hollow when the Screen Time controls that Apple includes is such a muddled mess. And, sometimes, it just doesn't seem to work properly at all. Working properly, the browser bypass isn't really a problem, but it's very twitchy and fiddly to set up. | ||||||||

If you enabled parental controls, then unrated apps from outside the App Store are already blocked by default. The DMA creates no additional risk here. | ||||||||
