There's no win here. With this move Disney is saying they do in fact approve of their presenters lying to their audience in order to create hatred of the right, even if someone was just assassinated. The right has never been a coherent coalition of people with shared goals like the left. This weakens the libertarian faction who want to keep government out of private business and strengthens those who say leftist executives will abuse their institutions without limit to advance leftist agendas if the law doesn't stop them. Expect Republicans to increasingly use the many legal tools at their disposal to punish left wing controlled companies and the part of the right that objects to steadily fall silent, as it becomes clear any high minded principle will just be exploited by the left to encourage more killing.

>We hit some new lows over the weekend, with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. >In between the finger pointing there was grieving. On Friday, the White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level you can see how hard the President is taking this. Can you show methe lie Kimmel told?
