Once I discovered that the entire EV battery holds only 2 gallons-of-gas-worth of energy (roughly about 65kwh) , all of the range issues made a lot more sense.

Half the range for 1/20 the energy is a win no matter how hard you spin it.

		Drivers care about range and cost per mile. The EV is better for one and worse for the other, not strictly better.
