On a different note for computers in the winter. I’m from a warm country and winters are, well, cool-fine weather. However, when I had been to countries for work during winter, the worst thing were my hands and the degradation in my typing/mousing agility. One of the best buy I discovered long back are those Deskmat Keyboard Hand Warmer. Rest your hand when not typing, feel the warmth and remain keyboard agile.

It never goes below 20C in my house, even when it's -30 outside. About the worst thing that happens is dry skin. But I'm in Canada where we prioritize insulation and heating system capacity. (Something has to offset the long, cold winters)
