The fae (according to common mythology) can't take anything from you without your consent and they're actually bound to honor the terms of a contract even when not in their favor. Corporations can just lie, cheat, steal and with enough money simply buy their way out of consequences, even if they kill you. I'd trust a fae over a corporation any day.
