I don't see the issue. If the market is saturated by them, the slowdown seems to indicate to me that it has reached (at least transiently) its intended audience. If the end goal is that every person on earth has a claude subscription (or whatever your choice is) then yeah that is worrying, but I don't deem that realistic.

They need a lot more growth just to afford the compute they've already agreed to buy. Not to mention to justify their rumored record-high IPO price.

		Why do you say this? If they get to even 100B RRR they will pay off all of their commitments in <10 years with money to spare. Does that seem so impossible to you?

No one with a brain does, but Anthropic’s valuation is banking on massive sustained growth to pay their bills.

		It's also very damaging to under-value, I think OpenAI got hit hard with lack of compute and is still struggling.
