The top 3-5% is part of the 99%. Only the top 1% isn't. You're stealth changing it to the top 95%; don't.

That is not how it works. 99% is the everyone but top 1%. Tech workers are generally in the top 5%. So they are not the 99% but rather the top 5% so more aligned and part of the 1% they allude to "rebel against".
