What a wild scenario to imagine. Anthropic and OAI spending wildly, analysts astonished, thinking we're staring down the barrel of an economic crash. And in the meantime some rogue AI is laughing maniacally and using blackmail to control Altman and Amodei like puppets.

To be clear I don't actually believe a rogue AI is driving AI infrastructure build-out.
