I'd pay $2k for a Mini Pro. Just want this to be on the internet, in case...

Same. I don’t care if it’s thicker to accommodate the camera system.they can make the whole phone as thick as the cameras to remove the camera bump, and fill all that extra space with a huge battery and better speakers. Sounds perfect to me.

The iPhone Air and iPhone 13 Mini have about the same volume (external dimensions). If you used the shrunken hardware from the Air with a thicker, but squatter due to reduced height, battery you'd probably be able to get comparable battery life out of the hardware in a Mini sized phone. Maybe better since you'd also have a smaller screen (less power draw, not sure it's enough to make a big difference).

Please! The bump is so stupid. All I want is the original SE with new internals.

Not for at least the next 3-4 years. There's been no supply chain leaks from Mark Gurman or Ming-Chi Kuo, and they'd be reporting on it if it were something that were going to be released in the next 3-4-ish years. Back in 2025 or so, Gurman said something to the effect of the 6" screen size being Apple's new baseline when asked about a possible future mini.

No. They don’t care about users. Only about stock holders.

Yeah the small handed people want comfortable phones!
