How well would you have fared if you had grown up at the edge of Manchester?

I do not know. Maybe it depends on when. I have lived in Manchester as an adult but in the centre and have visited it fairly recently. From what I have seen of it the transport system is pretty good now, but I do not know what it was like back then.

When i lived there it had a decent tram system and lots of busses.
