> Paramount Plus has nothing else.

This is funny, because every damn time I find something I want to watch its on paramount+.

There has to be a paradox/law named after this at this point. "The thing you're trying to watch will always be on the service you don't have."

That is a real reason I can't summon the interest to subscribe to any of them: Whatever I pick, I'll be dissatisfied, so I put it off for another day...

This is the biggest thing with streaming vs cable. Say what you will about the commercials, it solved the intertia issue of figuring out what to watch with curated content. What to watch? MTV of course. Done.

Apple was correct in the beginning here - the only way to make a service satisfactory to users is to have streaming aggregators (hosting all content) fed by different producers/studios. The "Spotify model", if you would. The modern "Netfix model" has seemed to resulted in large number of new TV shows (relative to number of new movies) which always seem to get killed before their plotlines are resolved. And when I have something in mind I want to watch I often don't even know where to find it. I'd prefer to go get DVDs from Blockbuster at this point - it'd be more convenient!
