I think we are still in a value discovery phase, as the token cost of one shotting someone's job is not cost effective, you have to constantly pay for tokens. Distilling someones role and breaking it up into AI responses and have AI build the deterministic workflow is where the efficiency is. It should be an upfront cost and then stable efficiency but I don't think many industries are setup to even begin this transformation. Someone else mentioned it's kind of like electricity, in itself productivity doesn't change, it's systems adopting it that compete and scale versus non adopting competition.
