How did you come to this conclusion? Is there a way to measure that?

(Maybe reading speed comprehension tests? On that note I wonder if an emoji-based script would win there. Color is one of the fastest things to be processed visually. Probably the same reason we like syntax highlighting so much!)

I'm assuming of course that you haven't spent the same amount of time practicing both scripts. (I assume this is also true for everyone on the Quikscript mailing list! Though it might be cool to write browser extension that translates everything into Quikscript...)

But obviously there's a compelling argument for "the one everyone can already read." (Historical counterpoint: Hebrew.)

That reminds me of something I heard about software. To be worth the pain of switching, an alternative application cannot be 10% better. It must be 10x better.
