Thanks natural gas and fracking

I wonder how much higher electricity costs would be without natural gas, fracking and nuclear.

Nobody forced Germany to shut down their nuclear plants. The US even warned them not to do it for over a decade. Obama and Merkel had a joint press conference where Merkel assured everyone that Germany had a "10 to 15-year plan". The Biden administration even sanctioned German companies building Nordstream 2 because it was a Russian geopolitical project that would be weaponized against them.

Well we see how that turned out.
