I am currently teaching programming to my cousin, which is 13.

She was interested in Python and now in Godot, even though she knew how to use ChatGPT and all, she still wants to work towards the challenged by herself, using AI as a guide.

This makes me think that at least for the next generation, understanding will still be valued. Even though I am still questioning it that will be the case in the long run
