You're aware of the difference between interpersonal relations and international relations aren't you? They aren't the same, they don't follow the same rules, they don't engender the same expectations.

Now you can try to apply the standards of one to the other, but that only makes you look confused.

Twitter isn’t the active ingredient.

		They would literally announce new decisions on Twitter before anywhere else. High-impact political decisions. You would be a fool to ignore it just because of the platform.
