For people looking for alternatives, I highly recommend the Beurer BF 720. It syncs with Bluetooth to the app, which doesn't require you to login. App syncs with Healthkit and that's it. Also works really well with multiple users who connect their own phones. And it's pretty affordable.

Only issue I've experienced is that background sync just stops working sometimes. Then I need to open the app manually to sync.
