I had something similar happen to me as a kid with a furby, as if they weren't creepy enough normally.

I remember waking up as a kid to the sound of "Me scared!" because our Furby had fallen off the bed as I drifted to sleep. It's one of the audio clips the Furby plays when it is placed upside down.
