amen to that. I took up cheesemaking as a hobby, which has led me to making contacts with farmers. I desperately want to dump everything and go all in on it. Just using my hands every day doing things with objects not made from silicon.

Kinda funny how I used to make fun of the Amish. Now I realize their lifestyle is closer to what I want than ever (barring the religious stuff I mean)

Very similar boat. In my twenties I used to look down on working with hands - like carpenter, farmer, plumber. Now, I want to only do this. I switch between farm and desk work all day.

I started bake a couple years back but I am just not consistent. Need to get to that, would love to have fresh bread in the morning since we don't have that in any village nearby.
