I graduated college in 1992.

2 male friends from college died by their own hand within the last decade.

By most measures, they were successful professionals.

I think part of the problem in that instance, might be "success" being necessary but not sufficient for "surviving and thriving"; and unfortunately sometimes that isn't explained along the way to even people who become conventionally successful (but, perhaps we can try to improve an awareness of the issue going forward for future gens)
