I have an Apple TV exactly to not deal with any Smart TV feature and to avoid connecting a TV to the internet, mine is the first gen 4K from 2017 and is still chugging along fine. I don't plan on upgrading it to this new version yet so I'll probably get 10+ years of use out of it, great value overall. | ||

Although not a particularly good one. Especially if you want to stream (which I presume Apple TV buyers would) and care about privacy. | ||
