The "art community" is highly fractured to the point where claiming "overwhelming majority" doesn't have the rhetoric impact you want it to have. I have seen a good number of longtime visual artists and musicians express recently interest in generative AI.

Any artist mentioning that they are using gen AI in their art will instantly generate a massive amount of backlash so I doubt this is a very large number.
