AI is only a tool, it isn’t anything more than that. I use AI because work pays for an expensive subscription, and I’ve found it helpful… as a tool.

I generally don't agree with the framing in the gist, but I'm not sure where you are getting that the author wouldn't consider gdb to be a tool
