Hmm, I wonder if the difference is that I’m working on an existing large codebase that wasn’t originally written with AI. It might be picking up practices from the surrounding code. It’s happily using the same crates that are already there, and occasionally bringing in new ones. Some of the code is “weird” but I also learn from it.
