Do they have the US interests at heart? Or their own? I think the latter, almost certainly. That makes them adversarial from a game theory perspective at the very least.

The U.S. cannot claim to be "pushed" into any war. The US chose to participate in this war and chooses to stay involved every single day since it started.

		"The US" is not a singular entity making an explicit deliberate choice, right? Just as it makes sense to say that Grump dragged the US into this war, it also makes sense to say that Israel helped. Of course both along with half of US voters. Think joint responsibility, not severable.
