The Greeks and the people Of Judea had a pretty harmonious relationship and there was an intellectual cultural exchange. My understanding is that there were discussions surrounding monotheism and polytheism that the Greeks found satisfying. | ||

There were certainly a lot of greeks that found the idea of monotheism appealing, and Greek philosophical thought had ideas about a single unified creative force or substance. I think this is why Christianity caught on so quickly among cultural Greeks. | ||
