Senior backend engineer focused on distributed systems and system design, with about a decade of end-to-end ownership across design, implementation, and production.

Most recently, I was lead backend engineer and architect on a distributed platform for venture capital workflows (Go services, event-driven architecture on GCP, data reconciliation, observability), and lead engineer on a survey fulfilment system integrating various third-party providers. Both roles included mentoring and coordinating other engineers.

I'm looking for a permanent role, but remain available for contract work in the meantime.
