Once I realized my introversion was psychological and mutable, not some fixed aspect of my personality, it changed my life. We tend to anchor ourselves to labels. Lots of introverts I meet limit themselves in life needlessly because "I'm an introvert!" I see my old self in them. | ||||||||

Good on you. But this doesn’t apply to everyone. Hell, I’d even be willing to bet that your case is extremely niche. Introversion can be a byproduct of so many different things that saying “it’s just a label” is not only absurd by itself, but utterly disrespectful too. It can be a choice too, sure, but that’s not the case for quite a lot of people. | ||||||||
