Yeah compare the GDP per capita of Mississippi to Germany and then tell me which has a better quality of life.

Germany, not even comparable lol. Affordable healthcare, clean living spaces, decent wages for the majority of people. Also, Mississippi has the highest gun death rate in the US.. Not sure how much feeling safe should factor into QoL for you but that's a pretty significant one in my book
