Macropolitics are multidimensional, the babies born tomorrow are eighteen years away from reaching the workforce. There are no policy or economic changes that make your children grow faster.

Europe's troop deficit is just as immediate and pressing as the economic and policy problems. It would be nice if we could ignore it, but you can only expand your domestic middle class if you don't condemn them to the conscription lines first.
