And owners pay taxes on (some of the) assets they have, land being a big one. Hoarding mentality may have been fine for frontier wild west but ain't much compatible with modern societies which are chock full of humans in all the sweet spots. Expectation that this comes with 0 cost just because it would suit you is a bit naive, innit | ||
