To be fair, this is most people. A level 1 charging setup is generally good for about 5 miles per hour, most cars parked at least 10 hours overnight, and the average commute just under 15 miles each way.

Level 2 is handy, for sure, but a whole lot of people could absolutely get by with a bog standard 120V socket.
