As someone who's first language is Spanish, that was completely unnecessary. You may ot know but in America Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language, with almost 20% of the population speaking it.

So in a US centric forum, most likely you'll find bilingual people that live in the US.

Not only that, Spanish is the second most spoken language of the world, behind Mandarin and before English.
