He's not talking about AI in general. He's talking about a device he owns.

Agree. Anyone should be allowed to disable generative AI features on their device, especially a general computing device such as Mac. It's not some hysterical outburst about the industry to be upset when you can't do that, especially when the option used to exist but was removed.

If you honestly can't see the blatant and absolute anti-AI rhetoric in his post (I provided a citation) and the banners, then there really is no reason to continue this discussion.

		It's there for sure. However, it's not particularly relevant to the following two points: 1. The author should be able to do whatever he wants with his own device. That he owns. 2. The author should be able to decline consent for data-gathering activities and general AI stuff that he doesn't want.
