Very impressive, but I wonder what the FAA's regulatory perspective is on this?

There was an onboard safety pilot so it's no different than a normal flight into an ILS airport where autopilot does basically everything.

I do also wonder though what future regulations will look like, and what the FAA has cooking already for fully automated jets and so on.
