It’s entirely possible to configure an LLM to talk to you in a different voice of your choosing, eg. “when responding, use a professional, formal, business tone of voice”.

Right. When I read this, I think it's a failure to embrace the tool, explore it, understand it, stress test it, and get creative with how to use it.
