Totally agree. It is more of a rant than reasoning. Anyone who claims to know how this will end (good or bad) is extrapolating beyond their own knowledge and is vastly oversimplifying what is likely to be one of the most transformative technologies of the last 100 years.

In the last 50 years, only the creation of the Internet compares. Like with the Internet, nuclear, television, etc. it will probably be a mix of good and bad.
