There's movement in that direction. "Beijing hails Taiwanese scholar’s rare proposal on reunification," from two days ago: https://archive.ph/2VSMT It's hard to view it as a bad outcome next to the alternative, though. I believe that this is among the lowest vales ever recorded, anywhere. It's simply an objective fact that Taiwan is not a vibrant or healthy society. Taiwan will be repatriated the same way HK was. And anybody who's been to HK recently would know that they'll be much better of for it. | ||||||||
