Orbi is a private chat and events app that supposedly makes it easy to stay in touch without the clutter of other social media. You can chat with friends, plan events, share updates and bring together the practical aspects of your social life in one place.

I'm giving it a try, as I like the idea of a communication platform (particularly) for events that isn't Meta owned. Haven't had a chance to have a deep dive in the technical and underlying infrastructure.
