I've had a few attempts on side projects throughout the years. Nothing seems to stick and now with AI it's as if everything is possible yet equates to 0 value. Can I get some feedback? What am I doing wrong? Is it just too late? My actual public attempts so far: cluekangaroo.com - structured homework help with clues for middleschoolers and highschoolers (I use AI, but anonymize any personal data and encrypt it all) drawesome.art - this is a personal love project because I love drawing esp with my kids and friends I can't of way to make it make money (I think the hosting would be kind of expensive) Catchmemeow.com - my daily game I made for my daughters to help them get dogs/cats adopted. therapscalliongame.com - a silly fantasy game. I just feel having the little side project that makes a little money in this day and age is over now. Everything is AI. Kind of feeling hopeless this is just me shouting into the void I'm sure. I don't want to sound spammy just want candid feedback.

"I just feel having the little side project that makes a little money in this day and age is over now" When you consider Wordle's popularity, it's hard for me to say that SaaS is over. I think the quality of the software needs to be top-notch plus it needs to offer something that only a net connected app can offer. I'd say something like networking, having many people connect in some manner. Also, the software has to be completely debugged and it needs to be something more than can be vibe coded in a few hours. Ultimately, it needs to be something that's great to use plus it needs to be something that's easier to pay for than to get AI to create.

Why would anyone pay monthly to use those sites when they too could make their own version for $20 in tokens? Each of the three sites look like bog standard slop, both in design and prose. The pages kept going blank any time I attempted to scroll. The game was super laggy.
