I cannot say I have a big problem with urinal design, but I do take significant issue with standard installation practices. I am an average height dude, yet many urinals seem to be installed as if the intended audience are all basketball players. Far too high such that I can imagine a decent chunk of users might have to aim up and or stand on their toes.

I was expecting you to say the opposite thing! In North Carolina they are so low that the stream angle ends up much steeper than intended, like trying to use a boy's urinal. I'm tall, but still fit normally in cars etc. There should really be more variation in mounting height, or bring back those tall ones that work universally. I guess it's cheaper to make them small but mounting the flush handle below penis height is asking for trouble.

>I do take significant issue with standard installation practices I just don't understand why there is no middle option. Either on the ground for a 6 year old or set up for a 2m+ man.

How tall are you and where do you live? I'm dead-on average US male height (5'9") and I've never experienced this.
