I think it is because the EU is requiring broader access to the deeper layers that Apple doesn’t want to give. EDIT: by broader I mean all apps the user installs on their phone. | ||

Yes. Besides, if you swapped out the thing underneath, you would still get the UI and branding of Siri. I don’t think that would meet the requirements of the DMA. Would it? | ||
