What if under the no-pause scenario within a couple of years we get cures for N diseases each one of which affects tens or hundreds of millions of people every year - how many years would you wait and keep your hand on the pause button?

Couldn't we just break the pause button? so it is not usable?!

Not pausing means more people knowing truths of everything faster in this world.
