If they lost control of a self-replicating swarm of AI agents, coordinating themselves to hack their way into every possible system, it might have already gone off. While the initial incident is more akin to a biological outbreak than an actual explosion, the possible consequences on the table do indeed include eventual nuclear annihilation. | ||

We’re already in a simulation, and our bodies are in womb-like pods where our bodies are sustained and our brains are used for processing / compute, while are minds are entertained by drivel. Sounds a bit far fetched though. | ||
