Not that I know of. But some people so far visiting the site have voted that they do no get hiccups, which is very odd. | ||||||||

I learned diaphragmatic breathing pretty early in childhood. Later, I noticed that whenever I got the hiccups, taking a deep belly breath early on, usually within the first two or three hiccups, would make them stop. Over time, I learned to do this unconsciously, so nowadays it's basically a reflex as soon as a hiccup starts. Since then, I haven't really had any hiccups longer than one contraction. | ||||||||

I used to have them as a kid, even long stretches that prevented me from sleeping. I don’t remember having hiccups in the last 15 years. It just stopped happening at some point. | ||||||||
