same. my current SE 3 is starting to limp battery-wise and I'm about to switch to my backup one. Hoping they come to their senses before it wears out.

Why not change the battery? It’s fairly cheap and if you’re in a city lots of places can do it

		I already had the backup but I'll keep that in mind for next time. the screen is fairly beat up too so I don't mind. I'll keep the old one around in case the replacement gets lost or stolen.

Apple Stores will happily swap the battery for you to a new Apple one for $79 IIRC
